Storm Damage Cleanup in Panama City, FL
Downed trees, hanging limbs and split leaders dealt with, and the debris taken away — not stacked at the kerb for somebody else to worry about.
Local experience
This city knows what a bad one looks like
Panama City took the eye of Hurricane Michael in October 2018. Nobody here needs a tree company to explain what wind does. What is worth saying is that most of the storm work we do now is not from a named hurricane at all — it is from the summer squalls that come through the Panhandle most weeks between June and September and take out one pine at a time.
Those are the calls where a limb is resting on a roof, or a tree has split at a fork and half of it is leaning on the fence. Nothing has failed completely yet, and it is holding by less than it looks.
What comes first
Making it safe before making it tidy
- Nothing under load gets cut casually. A limb bent under tension will move when it is released, and where it moves is the whole job. That is the part that gets people hurt.
- Power lines are not ours to touch. If a line is involved we tell you to call the utility first. We are not going to pretend otherwise to win the work.
- Photographs before we start. If you are claiming, take them, or ask us and we will. Once it is cut up it no longer exists as evidence.
- Then the cleanup. Brush chipped, wood hauled, ground raked.
Being straight with you
What we will tell you honestly
After a widespread storm every tree company in Bay County is booked and some of them will tell you what you want to hear about timing. We will give you a real answer, even when the real answer is that we cannot get to you for several days.
If something is genuinely unsafe and we cannot come, we will say that too, so you can call someone who can. For anything actively dangerous see emergency tree service.
Questions
Panama City — common questions
Do you work with insurance?
We can provide photographs, a written description of the work and an itemised invoice. We do not deal with the adjuster on your behalf — the claim is between you and your insurer — but we will give you what you need to make it.
A tree is on my roof. What now?
Get everyone out from under it, and if a power line is involved call the utility before anything else. Then call us and we will tell you honestly how fast we can be there.
Do you charge extra after a hurricane?
No. Our pricing does not change because demand went up.
Can you take the debris even if you did not cut it?
Yes. Storm debris haul-off is a job on its own — see yard debris removal.
