An old fridge or a dead washer is the one thing that sits in a garage for years. It is too heavy to move alone, too awkward for a car, and the kerbside collection will not take it. So it stays.
We carry it out. Up from a basement, down from an upstairs laundry, out through a garage packed with everything else — the carry is usually the hard part rather than the appliance itself. Tell us where it is and what is between it and the door when you call, because that is what decides the price.
Appliances cannot go in general waste. Fridges and freezers contain refrigerant that has to be handled properly, and most units have recoverable metal. Everything we take goes to the appropriate facility.
What to know before we come
Disconnection
We can disconnect straightforward plug-in and simple water connections. Anything hard-plumbed or on gas needs the right trade first — we will tell you honestly which yours is.
The route out matters
Stairs, tight turns and a garage you cannot walk through change the job more than the weight does. Mention it up front and the quote will be right.
Disposed of properly
Refrigerant-bearing units and scrap metal go where they should. Anything still working we will try to donate rather than scrap.

Can you disconnect it for me?
Straightforward plug-in appliances and simple water hookups, yes. Anything hard-plumbed or gas-connected needs a plumber or gas fitter first. We will tell you which yours is rather than guess at it.
Will you take a fridge or freezer?
Yes. They contain refrigerant which has to be handled correctly, so they cannot go in general waste — that is exactly why kerbside will not take them.
It is upstairs. Is that a problem?
Not a problem, but it does affect the price, because it is a two-person carry down a staircase rather than a wheel out of a garage. Tell us when you call.
What if it still works?
Say so. We will try to get it donated rather than scrapped where there is somewhere to take it.
Can you take several at once?
Yes, and it is much better value than separate trips. Old washer, dryer and fridge together is one visit.
What payment do you take?
Card, cash, Cash App and Venmo, with financing available on larger jobs.
