Local knowledge
Rural ground, big parcels, and room to work
Wewahitchka is inland Gulf County — river country, big parcels, and pine and hardwood that has been left to grow. The work here has almost nothing in common with the coast. There is no salt, the soil holds better, and most properties have space around them, which means a tree can often be felled properly rather than dismantled piece by piece. That makes large removals considerably cheaper here than the same tree would be in town.
What we do most is clearing. Fence lines, pasture edges, food plots, overgrown back sections and building sites — cleared to whatever line you want, with the material hauled off rather than shoved into a corner to rot.
It is one of the longer drives we make, and we would rather say that plainly. If you have several jobs, putting them into one visit makes a real difference to what it costs.
Rural work, priced accordingly
Room to fell
Where there is space around a tree we can take it down conventionally, which is faster and cheaper than rigging it out in sections.
Acreage clearing
Fence lines, pasture edges and back sections cleared, with the material taken off site.
Group the work
It is a long run. Several jobs in one visit costs meaningfully less than several separate trips.

Questions
Wewahitchka — common questions
Will you come out this far?
Yes. Gulf County is one of our four counties. It is one of the longer drives we make, so for a single small job we may suggest grouping it with other work — we will tell you that up front rather than pad the quote.
Can you clear several acres?
Yes. Pasture edges, fence lines, food plots and building sites. Cleared to the line you want with the material hauled away.
Why is a big tree cheaper out here than in town?
Access. Out here there is usually room to fell a tree conventionally and process it on the ground. In town the same tree has to be climbed and lowered in sections, which takes far longer.
Do you take away the timber?
Yes, unless you want to keep it. Plenty of customers here ask us to cut it to length and stack it instead, which is no problem.
Can you get equipment onto soft ground?
Usually, but it depends on how wet it is and what the access is like. Tell us about the ground when you call and we will be straight about whether it needs to wait for a dry spell.
What payment do you take?
Card, cash, Cash App and Venmo, with financing available on larger jobs.
